2013 edition

The first edition, dedicated to Italy, saw three artists take centre stage: Giovanni Ozzola, Elisa Sighicelli and Rä di Martino. All three interpreted the CastelGiocondo estate (Montalcino) through the language of photography.

The jury composed of Franziska Nori (Director of the Centro di Cultura Contemporanea Strozzina – Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Florence) Angela Tecce (Director of the Castel Sant’Elmo della Soprintendenza for the Polo Museale Napoletano) and Marina Pugliese (Director of the Museo del Novecento in Milan) awarded the prize to the work by Elisa Sighicelli, Untitled (una botte di ferro 2012).

The three artists also designed a label for a limited and numbered edition of CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2008.
