Wine and Art

The ancient village of CastelGiocondo, nestled in the unspoiled landscape of the Montalcino region, overlooks the estate’s vineyards, centuries-old forests, and the rich Mediterranean scrub. Nearby lies the famous medieval town, renowned worldwide for Brunello, one of Italy’s most important red wines, produced in this prestigious wine-growing region.
The harmonious lines of the landscape, so typically Tuscan, have inspired artists since the Renaissance. The works of contemporary artists invited through the Artisti per Frescobaldi Project are displayed across various spaces of the Tenuta CastelGiocondo. Each artist is also entrusted with creating a signature label for a limited and numbered series of Magnum bottles of Brunello di Montalcino, a tangible expression of the dialogue between contemporary art and the culture of wine.
